“Windows protected your PC” is expected — here’s how to get past it
The Windows build isn’t code-signed yet, so Microsoft Defender SmartScreen doesn’t recognise the publisher. Click More info, then Run anyway. Nothing is wrong with the download — the video shows this exact screen.
The same steps, in writing (TradeCut-Setup.exe)
- Click Download for Windows — your browser saves TradeCut-Setup.exe.
- Your browser may say the file “isn’t commonly downloaded”. Choose Keep, then Keep anyway.
- Run TradeCut-Setup.exe. Windows shows a blue “Windows protected your PC” screen: click More info, then Run anyway.
- Sign in with your TradeCut account and the app starts recording your sessions.
